Where is the Graduation ceremony being held?
How many tickets are Grads given for free for friends/family to attend?
Students will receive 4 free tickets each and have the option to purchase up to 8 additional tickets at a cost of $10 per ticket. Extra Grad Tickets are now available to purchase in the office.

What if I need more than 12 tickets?

Do kids and grad escort need a ticket?
If they require a seat, yes they do
How much is the Grad fee?
Grad fee for the 2023-2024 year is: $135 per student and must be paid in full before grad in order to participate in the graduation ceremonies.
What is the Grad fee for?
The Grad fee is a charge for each student who participates in grad-related activities to offset the costs. These include the arena rental, decorating, handshake photo, grad cap and gown, sound & lighting, live streaming.
How do you know what size Grad gown I need?
Student should have filled out the Grad Intent Form by February 29th to let us know:
1. If they plan on attending the Commencement Ceremony on June 26th
2. They must specify their height so that we can order their Grad Cap and Gown.

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER:
June 3rd - Extra Commencement / Grand March tickets (above & beyond the 8 "additional") will be released for purchase starting on Monday, June 3rd

June 17th - Commencement / Grand March tickets will be available for pick-up in the office
June 21st - Grad Package Pickup 8:00-9:00am
Grad Breakfast - 8:30am
Possible Group Cap and Gown Photo for those in attendance
June 25th - Grad Rehearsal 3:15pm – Very Important that all grads be there!!!
All Grads are asked to meet at Bonnett's Energy Center for our Grad Rehearsal and Walk Through. We will have a couple of busses leaving Charles Spencer at 3:00pm for anyone that is unable to get to Bonnett's on their own. If students drive or have a ride with parents to Bonnett's we ask that everyone BE THERE BY 3:15pm
June 26th - Commencement Ceremony 10am-12:30pm
(students will need to arrive at 9:00am)
6:30pm - Grand March (students arrive at 5:30pm)
7:30pm - Grad Formal (students only)
Grad Tickets - Extra Grad tickets are currently available for purchase in the office!

***These Tickets are good for The Commencement in the morning and also for the Grand March later that evening - 1 ticket will give admittance to both events.
***Please Note: Grad Tickets (including the free tickets will not be given to students until all school fees are paid and will be available for pick up starting the week of June 17th.
Safe Grad and Fun Grad
Safe Grad and Fun Grad are optional activities, historically being held on the evening of the Grand March. Both events are organized and controlled by parent committees. Neither the Grande Prairie Public School District nor Charles Spencer High School endorse either of these activities; they are organized and executed completely by a parent group. All safe grad and fun grad details are determined by the parent committees.
