Success in school starts with regular attendance from the early years right through high school completion. If your child is going to be absent from school, it is important to inform us.

Reporting Student Absences

Reporting student absences can be done in three ways. These options are available 24 hours/day, 7 days a week.

1. SchoolMessenger App on your smartphone or tablet, download here: https://go.schoolmessenger.ca/#/home.

2. Website, visit https://go.schoolmessenger.ca/#/account/login online.

3. Phone, call our school and press 2 or use our school division’s toll-free line at 1-844-352-4191.

If your student is marked absent and the absence hasn’t been reported in SchoolMessenger, SafeArrival will contact you by automated phone call, text message, email or mobile app push notification (depending on how you have set your preferences in SchoolMessenger-Attendance) for you to indicate a reason for the absence.

School Notice

Attention Bus Pass Riders!

We want to ensure all students have a safe and smooth transportation experience. Please review the following important information regarding bus passes:
1. Bus Pass Required for Riding
If your student has a bus pass in hand, they are eligible to ride the bus to and from school.
2. No Bus Pass, No Ride Home
If your student does NOT have a bus pass in hand, First Student will NOT be able to provide them a ride home. Due to significant changes in bus routes this year, there is a high likelihood that students without a pass could end up on the wrong bus.
We understand that the timing of this message may be challenging. Please know that we are sharing this information as quickly as possible to keep everyone informed and safe.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
